Diigo

I kept putting off writing this blog post because I was a little intimidated by Diigo. But it turns out that I just needed to get used to it.
However, the user interface could be a little more user-friendly. I realized that this is a great site for academic use because I can highlight or save research articles and go back to it later without scrambling my brain about where I last read it.
The best part is that it's a convenient way to share information with my colleagues and it's in a professional manner (unlike Facebook or Twitte)

  1. I think that I spent less time with this application compared to others ones our course has been exploring, Most of this is the initial experience made me decide it was to hard to figure out. As I have gotten use to it I can see how it is useful and easier then I thought but like you I found the interface not so user-friendly.

  2. I agree. When I first went on Diigo, it seemed very confusing, and to be honest, I've learned to navigate it, but I still don't find it to be a super user-friendly platform. And to be even more honest, I can't really see much use for it, personally. I just feel like I could just use a snipping tool or something.. :)

  4. Same here. I had to spend some time to get used to it. But as you said, it is a good tool to share info with people in a professional manner. I also like Diigo provides a forum for groups and people can discuss the topics they like. And it is a good tool for PLN.
